Privacy Policy for Dubai Electronic Security Center – RZAM – Web Extension Application

1. Our Commitment and Terminology
Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) is committed to protecting the rights and privacy of all visitors to its websites and/or mobile applications.
The terms “we”, “us” or “our(s)” hereunder refer to Dubai Electronic Security Center and its affiliates and the terms “you” and “your” hereunder refer to the user visiting Dubai Electronic Security Center’s web extension application – RZAM.

• Dubai Electronic Security Center’s web extension application (RZAM), automatically detects malicious websites as you browse, this is available on our site (App Site), once you have downloaded or streamed a copy of Dubai Electronic Security Center’s web extension application (RZAM), the web extension will be on your computer, mobile telephone, or handheld device (Device); and
• Any of the services accessible through RZAM (the Service) that are available on the App Site, unless the EULA states that a separate privacy policy applies to a particular Service, in which case that privacy policy only applies.

This includes information you provide when you register to use the App Site, download, or register RZAM, and when you report a problem with RZAM. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number and other registration information and personal description where applicable.
• Information we collect about you and your device
Each time you use the RZAM web extension application, we may automatically collect the following information: Technical data including information about the URL the user is visiting. Collecting this information enables us to fulfill user requests, analyze and fix errors, and improve AI models for accuracy. This information may be used for internal analytics purposes and to improve the quality and relevance of content on the application.
We use information collected to:
• Fulfil your requests.
• To notify you on safety of a URL
• Send updates or warranty information.
• Conduct research and analysis.
• Respond to your questions and concern.
4. Choosing not to share your personal information
Where we are required by law to collect your personal information, or where we need your personal information to provide the App to you, if you do not provide this information when requested (or you later ask to delete it), we may not be able to provide you with RZAM web extension. We will tell you what information you must provide to use the App by designating it as required at the time of collection or through other appropriate means.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our application and website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with Services. If you wish to deactivate your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you with Services, please navigate to profile section, select the ‘Deactivate Account’ option under ‘Personal Information’ and follow the deactivation process. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of Our Sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
7. Applicable Law
This policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the provisions and laws in force in the Emirate of Dubai.

In all cases, your continued use of the App after the posting of any modified Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of the terms of the modified Privacy Policy.
